What exactly is vermicompost, and how is it different from ordinary compost?
Vermicompost is organic matter that has passed through earthworms. Ordinary compost is organic matter broken down by microbes and heat alone. The distinction isn't academic — worm digestion produces a finer, more uniform material with plant-available nutrients and a far higher population of beneficial microorganisms. In practice, you use less of it and see a longer response.

Yes, and this is where a lot of cheap material fails. Immature vermicompost keeps decomposing after you apply it, which pulls nitrogen away from your crop instead of feeding it. Ours is matured, screened and tested before packing. You can tell mature material by its colour and smell — dark, crumbly, and it smells like forest floor, not like a farmyard.

Vermicompost is not a chemical fertiliser and it doesn't behave like one. Typical values sit in the region of 1–2% nitrogen, 0.5–1.5% phosphorus and 0.5–1.5% potassium, but the real value is in the organic carbon, the micronutrients and the microbial load. We supply a batch-wise test report with every consignment, so you'll get the actual figures for the material you bought — not a generic label. **[VERIFY these ranges against your own lab reports before publishing.

It matters enormously. Raw coir pith carries sodium and potassium salts from the coconut husk, and unwashed material can run an EC high enough to burn young roots. Ours is washed and processed to bring electrical conductivity down to a safe working range and tested before packing. If you've lost a tray of seedlings to a medium that looked perfectly fine, salt content is the usual culprit.

Matured vermicompost, cocopeat and supporting components blended to a fixed ratio, balanced for drainage, aeration and nutrition. The point is repeatability — the mix you get in March behaves the same as the mix you got in November, so your watering routine stays put.

They're produced from organic sources, and we can supply test documentation. But certification requirements differ by scheme and by country, so check with your certifying body about input approval before you commit. We'll give you whatever paperwork they ask for.


5 kg, 25 kg and 50 kg. Home gardeners and terrace growers usually take 5 kg. Nurseries and small farms work in 25 kg. Field application and export consignments go out in 50 kg.

Yes — across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and further afield. Freight is quoted separately based on volume and distance. Larger orders travel more economically per bag, which is worth knowing if you're planning a season's worth.

Somewhere shaded and dry, off bare ground, out of direct sun. Vermicompost is a living material with an active microbial population, and baking it under a tin roof in May does it no favours. Keep it slightly moist rather than bone dry, and use within a reasonable window.

Typical field crop application runs around 2–2.5 tonnes per acre per season; vegetables often take more; fruit trees are usually dosed per plant rather than per acre. Your soil's current organic carbon changes the answer significantly. Before sowing or transplanting, worked into the top layer of soil, with enough moisture to keep the microbes alive. For orchards, application around the start of the growing season works well. Spreading it on dry, unworked ground in peak summer wastes most of what you paid for.

Yes, and most growers transitioning do exactly that. Vermicompost improves soil structure and biology, which usually means your chemical inputs work better and you can reduce them over a few seasons. Nobody sensible switches everything overnight.

For propagation and seedling trays, often yes. As a long-term growing medium it's usually blended, because cocopeat holds water beautifully but carries very little nutrition of its own. That's precisely why our potting mix exists.
